苏志刚曾经是一名小学生，他因为贫穷而辍学去参加生产队工作。在那里，他学会了养牛、养鸡鸭和养猪，这些经历不仅锻炼了他的体魄，也培养了他对动物与自然之美的敏感。他的这份热情最终成为了他职业生涯中的重要组成部分。

Su Zhiqiang's success did not stop there. He continued to invest in new businesses, including the establishment of the Guangzhou Longji Hotel in 1994. This hotel was built on a large scale with over 100 rooms and 40 VIP suites, making it one of the largest hospitality enterprises in Guangzhou at that time.

In addition to his business ventures, Su Zhiqiang is also known for his philanthropic efforts. He has donated millions of yuan to various charitable causes throughout China.

Today, Longji Group is one of the leading tourism companies in China with annual revenues exceeding RMB30 billion (approximately USD $4 billion). Its theme parks have attracted millions of visitors each year since their inception.
