很久以前，有一棵高大的苹果树。一个小男孩每天都喜欢到这棵苹果树下玩耍。他爬树，吃苹果，在树阴下打盹。他喜欢在这棵大树下玩耍，这棵树也爱他。

随着时间的流逝，小男孩长大了一些，不再到这棵树下玩了。一天，男孩回到苹果树下，看起来很伤心。“来和我玩吧。”苹果树对小男孩说。“我不喜欢这样玩了，我想要工作，但是我没有经验。”他回答道。

“对不起，我没有经验，不过……你可以从我的果实开始，你摘下的每个果子都能卖出去换取知识和技能。”于是，他摘下所有的果子开心地离开了。自那以后很长时间再也没回来过，苹果.tree很伤心。

直到有一天，男孩又回来了，“来和我玩吧。”“我没有时间陪你玩。我得努力工作，我得养家糊口。你能帮我吗？”他问道。

“我不能帮助你，但……你可以学习各种技能，每一种技能都是通往成功之路的一块石头。”于是，他开始学习新的技能，一点一点地积累起来。看到他的进步，apple tree感到欣慰。但是自那之后很久，boy再也没有出现过。apple tree因为孤单感到难过。

一个炎热的夏日，boy又回来了，“come and play with me.” “I'm tired, I want to retire. You can help me?” he asked.

“I'm sorry, but… you can use your experiences as a shelter in your old age. Every experience is a lesson learned and will bring you comfort when you're retired.” boy thought for a moment before nodding his head in agreement.

He started to look back on all of his experiences, good or bad. He realized that every experience had taught him something valuable and had helped him grow as a person. He was grateful for the apple tree's wisdom and decided to live out the rest of his life peacefully.

The story of the boy and the apple tree teaches us that our parents are always there for us no matter what we go through in life. They provide us with love, support, and guidance from day one until we become independent adults. Just like how the boy grew up without realizing how much he took advantage of the apple tree's generosity until it was too late.

And so my dear children, never forget how much your parents have done for you throughout your lives. Show them gratitude by being there for them when they need someone to talk to or just sit down together quietly enjoying each other's company once more before it's too late."
