段永平，一个在江湖中不再传说的人，但他的事迹却依旧令人叹为观止。从16岁考入浙江大学无线电系，一路走来，他成为了学霸，然后创立小霸王电子工业公司，将一家亏损200万的小厂做到了年产值10亿。这一切的传奇，都源于他的一双手和对技术的热爱。

段永平出生于江西南昌，在北京电子管厂工作期间，他梦想着有一天能创办自己的公司。他没有放弃，并最终在28岁时成功接管了一家小型企业，用5年的时间将其打造成了价值10亿的大企业。在那个时代，小霸王是每个家庭必备的电脑品牌，其广告语“拥有一台小霸王，打出一个万元户”让它成为家喻户晓。

然而，段永平并没有停留在成功之巅，而是选择离开小霸王，这主要是因为他自己并不持有股份。他带着3位生产团队和3位研发团队共6人成立了新的公司，并与原集团签订了君子协议，一年内不与小霸王竞争。当时集团总经理还特意送给他一辆奔驰车作为礼物。
